Stephan Shay Studio is a custom woodworking and furniture studio rooted in craft, character, and place. Founded by Stephan Shay, the studio began with the renovation and outfitting of vintage RVs, spaces that demanded ingenuity, precision, and a deep respect for materials.

 

Over time, this hands-on approach evolved into a full woodworking practice, producing bespoke furniture and architectural pieces defined by thoughtful design and meticulous execution. Inspired by the local art community and the laid-back yet discerning spirit of Ojai and Ventura, each piece balances refined craftsmanship with an effortless, lived-in sensibility, crafted for distinctive homes, boutique hospitality, and clients who value originality over excess.
